All welders employed within our company are coded welders and certified to the relevant British and European standards.

We also undertake lighter fabrication jobs such as the manufacture and fitting of wrought iron gates and railings for which over the years we have built a great reputation for quality, in addition we also do heavier fabrications such as structural steel and various commercial projects.

We’re based in the central belt of Scotland but we complete projects throughout the UK.

During May 2016 our weld qualification procedure records (WQPR) and factory production control procedures were audited and successfully achieved CE accreditation to execution class two. All products manufactured by “ABL Fabrications Welding Engineers Ltd) can now be labelled and stamped with the CE conformity mark signifying that we meet the quality standards expected to achieve the accreditation

History

The business was established in 2002 by the current director/owner when he was 24 years old. Having Started out on a shoe string and having been trading for a few months he was contacted by the local business enterprise who introduced him to the (PSYBT) “Princes Scottish Youth Business Trust”. As the business was literally in its infancy at this time the introduction to the Princes Trust couldn’t have come at a better time. Having completed a business plan and attending a series of interviews the business met the criteria and was awarded a small business loan from the Princes Trust along with invaluable business support in the early years.
